Policies & Expectations

Travel Policy:

Sessions requiring more than 20-25 minutes of travel may require longer session bookings, recurring commitments, or an additional travel fee.

Cancellation Policy:
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations. Please see the Refund & Rescheduling Policy below for additional details.

Progress & Communication:

Student progress will be measured periodically to track improvement in the specific subject, skill, or area for which tutoring services were requested. Parents/guardians will receive progress updates highlighting growth and areas that may need continued support.

Refund & Rescheduling Policy:
If a session must be canceled by Rise & Advance Tutoring, families may choose to reschedule the session or apply any prepaid amount to a future session. If a family cancels a session with at least 24 hours' notice, the session may be rescheduled without penalty. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee unless an emergency occurs. Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Rise & Advance Tutoring respects the privacy of our students, adult learners, and families. Personal information collected through our website, intake forms, communications, or tutoring services is used only as reasonably necessary to provide and manage our services.

Information We Collect:
We may collect names, contact information, grade level or adult learner status, tutoring needs and goals, scheduling information, service location, academic information voluntarily provided, and other information necessary to coordinate tutoring services.

How Information Is Used:
Information may be used to communicate with clients and parents/guardians, schedule and provide services, personalize academic support, maintain tutoring records, track progress, and manage business-related matters.

Student & Minor Information:
For students who are minors, a parent or legal guardian should provide or authorize information submitted for tutoring services. Student information will only be used as reasonably necessary to provide and manage services.

Privacy & Third-Party Services:
Rise & Advance Tutoring does not sell or rent personal information. Reasonable measures are taken to keep client and student information private and secure. We may use trusted third-party services for functions such as website hosting, forms, email, virtual tutoring, scheduling, document storage, and payment processing. Information processed through those services may also be subject to their respective privacy practices.

Records & Requests:
Information may be retained as reasonably necessary for tutoring, business, and recordkeeping purposes. Adult clients and parents/legal guardians may contact Rise & Advance Tutoring with questions about their information or to request corrections or deletion when appropriate.

Policy Updates:
All policies may be updated as our services or practices change. The most current versions will be available on our website.
